ترجمة الآية 12 من سورة Ar-Ra‘d - English - سورة الرعد : عدد الآيات 43 - - الصفحة 250 - الجزء 13.

﴿ هُوَ ٱلَّذِي يُرِيكُمُ ٱلۡبَرۡقَ خَوۡفٗا وَطَمَعٗا وَيُنشِئُ ٱلسَّحَابَ ٱلثِّقَالَ ﴾
[ الرعد: 12]

﴿ ترجمة: هو الذي يريكم البرق خوفا وطمعا وينشئ السحاب الثقال ﴾

It is He who shows you the lightning, as a fear (for travellers) and as a hope (for those who wait for rain). And it is He Who brings up (or originates) the clouds, heavy (with water).

English - Sahih International

It is He who shows you lightening, [causing] fear and aspiration, and generates the heavy clouds.

Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(13:12) It is He Who makes the lightning flash before you to fill you both with fear and with hope: it is He Who produces clouds laden with water.
