ترجمة الآية 125 من سورة Al-An‘am - English - سورة الأنعام : عدد الآيات 165 - - الصفحة 144 - الجزء 8.
﴿ فَمَن يُرِدِ ٱللَّهُ أَن يَهۡدِيَهُۥ يَشۡرَحۡ صَدۡرَهُۥ لِلۡإِسۡلَٰمِۖ وَمَن يُرِدۡ أَن يُضِلَّهُۥ يَجۡعَلۡ صَدۡرَهُۥ ضَيِّقًا حَرَجٗا كَأَنَّمَا يَصَّعَّدُ فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَجۡعَلُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلرِّجۡسَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ ﴾
[ الأنعام: 125]
﴿ ترجمة: فمن يرد الله أن يهديه يشرح صدره للإسلام ومن يرد أن يضله ﴾
And whomsoever Allah wills to guide, He opens his breast to Islam, and whomsoever He wills to send astray, He makes his breast closed and constricted, as if he is climbing up to the sky. Thus Allah puts the wrath on those who believe not.
English - Sahih International
So whoever Allah wants to guide - He expands his breast to [contain] Islam; and whoever He wants to misguide - He makes his breast tight and constricted as though he were climbing into the sky. Thus does Allah place defilement upon those who do not believe.

(6:125) Thus, (it is a fact that) whomsoever Allah wills to guide, He opens his breast for Islam; *92 and whomsoever He wills to let go astray, He causes his breast to become strait and constricted, as if he were climbing towards the heaven. *92). 'To open someone's breast to Islam' means to make him feel fully convinced of the truth of Islam and to remove all his doubts, hesitations and reluctance.
