ترجمة الآية 136 من سورة Al-A‘raf - English - سورة الأعراف : عدد الآيات 206 - - الصفحة 166 - الجزء 9.

﴿ فَٱنتَقَمۡنَا مِنۡهُمۡ فَأَغۡرَقۡنَٰهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡيَمِّ بِأَنَّهُمۡ كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَكَانُواْ عَنۡهَا غَٰفِلِينَ ﴾
[ الأعراف: 136]

﴿ ترجمة: فانتقمنا منهم فأغرقناهم في اليم بأنهم كذبوا بآياتنا وكانوا عنها غافلين ﴾

So We took retribution from them. We drowned them in the sea, because they belied Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and were heedless about them.

English - Sahih International

So We took retribution from them, and We drowned them in the sea because they denied Our signs and were heedless of them.

Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(7:136) So We inflicted Our retribution on them, and caused them to drown in the sea because they gave the lie to Our signs and were heedless of them.
