ترجمة الآية 2 من سورة Al-Anbiya’ - English - سورة الأنبياء : عدد الآيات 112 - - الصفحة 322 - الجزء 17.

﴿ مَا يَأۡتِيهِم مِّن ذِكۡرٖ مِّن رَّبِّهِم مُّحۡدَثٍ إِلَّا ٱسۡتَمَعُوهُ وَهُمۡ يَلۡعَبُونَ ﴾
[ الأنبياء: 2]

﴿ ترجمة: ما يأتيهم من ذكر من ربهم محدث إلا استمعوه وهم يلعبون ﴾

Comes not unto them an admonition (a chapter of the Quran) from their Lord as a recent revelation but they listen to it while they play,

No mention comes to them anew from their Lord except that they listen to it while they are at play

(21:2) They give a mere formal hearing to every new Revelation *3 that comes to them from their Lord and remain engaged in the game (of life) for their hearts are preoccupied (with other matters.) *4
