ترجمة الآية 35 من سورة As-saffat - English - سورة الصافات : عدد الآيات 182 - - الصفحة 447 - الجزء 23.

﴿ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُوٓاْ إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمۡ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ يَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ ﴾
[ الصافات: 35]

﴿ ترجمة: إنهم كانوا إذا قيل لهم لا إله إلا الله يستكبرون ﴾

Truly, when it was said to them: La ilaha ill-Allah "(none has the right to be worshipped but Allah)," they puffed themselves up with pride (i.e. denied it).

Indeed they, when it was said to them, "There is no deity but Allah," were arrogant
