ترجمة الآية 36 من سورة Al-A‘raf - English - سورة الأعراف : عدد الآيات 206 - - الصفحة 154 - الجزء 8.

﴿ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ عَنۡهَآ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِۖ هُمۡ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ ﴾
[ الأعراف: 36]

﴿ ترجمة: والذين كذبوا بآياتنا واستكبروا عنها أولئك أصحاب النار هم فيها خالدون ﴾

But those who reject Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and treat them with arrogance, they are the dwellers of the (Hell) Fire, they will abide therein forever.


English - Sahih International

But the ones who deny Our verses and are arrogant toward them - those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally.

(7:36) And those who reject Our revelations as false and turn away from them in arrogance, they shall be the inmates of Hell; and there shall they abide. *28

*28). Reference to the continuous unremitting punishment of the unbelievers occurs invariably on occasions where the Qur'an narrates the coming down of Adam and Eve from Paradise. (See al-Baqarah 2: 38-9 ; Ta Ha 20: 123-4.) What has been said here should be considered in relation to the fact that at the very start of man's earthly life he was informed of the evil results of unbelief.
