ترجمة الآية 7 من سورة Maryam - English - سورة مريم : عدد الآيات 98 - - الصفحة 305 - الجزء 16.
﴿ يَٰزَكَرِيَّآ إِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلَٰمٍ ٱسۡمُهُۥ يَحۡيَىٰ لَمۡ نَجۡعَل لَّهُۥ مِن قَبۡلُ سَمِيّٗا ﴾
[ مريم: 7]
﴿ ترجمة: يازكريا إنا نبشرك بغلام اسمه يحيى لم نجعل له من قبل سميا ﴾
(Allah said) "O Zakariya (Zachariah)! Verily, We give you the glad tidings of a son, His name will be Yahya (John). We have given that name to none before (him)."
English - Sahih International
[He was told], "O Zechariah, indeed We give you good tidings of a boy whose name will be John. We have not assigned to any before [this] name."

(19:7) (The answer was: ) "O Zachariah, We give you the good news of a son, who will be called Yahya ( John) . We have not created any other man of this name before. " *5
