﴿ وَكَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُم مِّن قَرۡنٍ هُمۡ أَحۡسَنُ أَثَٰثٗا وَرِءۡيٗا ﴾
[ مريم: 74]
﴿ ترجمة: وكم أهلكنا قبلهم من قرن هم أحسن أثاثا ورئيا ﴾
And how many a generation (past nations) have We destroyed before them, who were better in wealth, goods and outward appearance?

And how many a generation have We destroyed before them who were better in possessions and [outward] appearance?
