ترجمة الآية 104 من سورة Al-Mu’minun - English - سورة المؤمنون : عدد الآيات 118 - - الصفحة 348 - الجزء 18.

﴿ تَلۡفَحُ وُجُوهَهُمُ ٱلنَّارُ وَهُمۡ فِيهَا كَٰلِحُونَ ﴾
[ المؤمنون: 104]

﴿ ترجمة: تلفح وجوههم النار وهم فيها كالحون ﴾

The Fire will burn their faces, and therein they will grin, with displaced lips (disfigured).

English - Sahih International

The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles.

(23:104) The "Fire" will scorch their faces so as to expose their jaws *97

*97) The word kalih means a face whose skin has been removed so as to expose the jaws. When somebody asked Hadrat `Abdullah bin Mas`ud the meaning of kalih, he said, "Haven't you seen the scorched head of a slaughtered animal?"
