﴿ لَّعَنَهُ ٱللَّهُۘ وَقَالَ لَأَتَّخِذَنَّ مِنۡ عِبَادِكَ نَصِيبٗا مَّفۡرُوضٗا ﴾
[ النساء: 118]

﴿ ترجمة: لعنه الله وقال لأتخذن من عبادك نصيبا مفروضا ﴾

Allah cursed him. And he [Shaitan (Satan)] said: "I will take an appointed portion of your slaves;

Whom Allah has cursed. For he had said, "I will surely take from among Your servants a specific portion.

*146). This shows that Satan is determined to lay his claim to a portion of men's time, to their effort and labour, to their energies and capacities, to their material belongings, and to their offspring, and would somehow trick them into devoting a sizeable portion of all these in his cause.
