﴿ وَلَقَدۡ أَنذَرَهُم بَطۡشَتَنَا فَتَمَارَوۡاْ بِٱلنُّذُرِ ﴾
[ القمر: 36]

﴿ ترجمة: ولقد أنذرهم بطشتنا فتماروا بالنذر ﴾

And he [Lout (Lot)] indeed had warned them of Our Grasp, but they did doubt the warnings!

English - Sahih International

And he had already warned them of Our assault, but they disputed the warning.

(54:36) Surely Lot warned his people that We shall seize them (with Our chastisement), but they doubted the warnings.
