﴿ عَنِ ٱلۡيَمِينِ وَعَنِ ٱلشِّمَالِ عِزِينَ ﴾
[ المعارج: 37]

﴿ ترجمة: عن اليمين وعن الشمال عزين ﴾

(Sitting) in groups on the right and on the left (of you, O Muhammad SAW)?

[To sit] on [your] right and [your] left in separate groups?

*24) This refers to those disbelievers who would rush in towards the Holy Prophet (upon whom be peace) from every side to mock and ridicule him when they heard him preach Islam and recite the Qur'an.
