ترجمة الآية 45 من سورة Al-Qasas - English - سورة القصص : عدد الآيات 88 - - الصفحة 391 - الجزء 20.
﴿ وَلَٰكِنَّآ أَنشَأۡنَا قُرُونٗا فَتَطَاوَلَ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡعُمُرُۚ وَمَا كُنتَ ثَاوِيٗا فِيٓ أَهۡلِ مَدۡيَنَ تَتۡلُواْ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتِنَا وَلَٰكِنَّا كُنَّا مُرۡسِلِينَ ﴾
[ القصص: 45]
﴿ ترجمة: ولكنا أنشأنا قرونا فتطاول عليهم العمر وما كنت ثاويا في أهل مدين ﴾
But We created generations [after generations i.e. after Musa (Moses)], and long were the ages that passed over them. And you (O Muhammad SAW) were not a dweller among the people of Madyan (Midian), reciting Our Verses to them. But it is We Who kept sending (Messengers).
English - Sahih International
But We produced [many] generations [after Moses], and prolonged was their duration. And you were not a resident among the people of Madyan, reciting to them Our verses, but We were senders [of this message].

(28:45) but after him (until your time) We have raised up many a generation, and a long time has passed over them. *62

*62) That is, "You had no direct means of obtaining this information. AlI this is being revealed to you by Allah. That is how you have been enabled to relate these two-thousand-year old events, in a manner as if you were an eye-witness."
