ترجمة الآية 196 من سورة Al-A‘raf - English - سورة الأعراف : عدد الآيات 206 - - الصفحة 176 - الجزء 9.
﴿ إِنَّ وَلِـِّۧيَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي نَزَّلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَۖ وَهُوَ يَتَوَلَّى ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ ﴾
[ الأعراف: 196]
﴿ ترجمة: إن وليي الله الذي نـزل الكتاب وهو يتولى الصالحين ﴾
"Verily, my Wali (Protector, Supporter, and Helper, etc.) is Allah Who has revealed the Book (the Quran), and He protects (supports and helps) the righteous.
English - Sahih International
Indeed, my protector is Allah, who has sent down the Book; and He is an ally to the righteous.

*149). This is in response to the threats held out by the polytheists to the Prophet (peace he on him). They used to tell the Prophet (peace be on him) that if he did not give up opposing their deities and denouncing them, he would be overwhelmed by the wrath of those deities and court utter disaster.
